Tecninvest is a private consulting and research firm incorporated in 1982 in Lisbon, Portugal, as a spin-off of the country’s leading engineering, architectural, and planning consultancy at the time. The firm integrated several divisions from the parent company, specializing in conceptual engineering, environment, energy, planning, and applied research in business development and economic and social domains. These professional resources boast a track record of over 4,000 assignments and research projects for public and private clients in Portugal and internationally.

The firm maintains a core team of in-house staff and permanent associate consultants, comprising university graduates and postgraduate experts in engineering, management, finance, marketing, social sciences, and environmental studies. Additionally, several dozen associate consultants—including technologists, industry analysts, and market experts—are regularly engaged in company assignments on a retainer basis. These forecasts are presented at conferences and published in the Euroconstruct Country and Summary Reports, which are made available to the general public following each event. 
• ENSR: The European Network for Social and Economic Research, a network of universities, research organisations, and consultancies with 33 members representing all European states.
